TUITION FEES

NEW STUDENTS

All new students are required to initially pre-book classes using our Pay As You Go option, which is available at an introductory rate of £7 per class.
Valor Combat Systems provides temporary martial arts insurance for new students until their Membership becomes active. Membership will commence from the 1st day of the month following the student's first martial arts class.

PAY AS YOU GO BOOKINGS

Pay As You Go bookings are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances, such as class cancellations.
If you are unable to attend a booked class, your booking may be transferred to another Pay As You Go class using the link provided in your Bookwhen confirmation email.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

Various Membership options are available to provide our students with the choice of training either one or more times per week (please view the options below). Once a student has confirmed how many times per week they wish to train our GoCardless Membership payment link will be sent via email after the first class.
All Memberships include Tuition fees and Martial arts insurance.
Membership payments will be taken on the 1st of every month to Valor Combat Systems via Direct Debit.
The prices are inclusive of our two-week annual break over the Christmas and New Year period.

MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION

Once a student has signed up for a Membership, classes will be required to be booked under Membership on our Bookwhen website for our Digital Register and Emergency contact details. Students will be required to be logged in to our Bookwhen website to enable booking.
When the membership has been processed, a digital Membership Licence Form will be sent via Signable. Completion of this form is required to activate the martial arts insurance and agree to our Terms and Conditions (Scroll down to details below).
Membership Licence Forms completed incorrectly cannot be processed and will therefore be deemed invalid.
Valor Combat Systems reserves the right to decline any Membership application without providing a reason.
Completed Membership Licence Forms will be processed according to the date they are signed: -

Forms signed between the 1st and 14th of the month will be deemed to commence from the 1st of that month.
Forms signed between the 15th and the last day of the month will commence from the 1st day of the following month.

STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

All students agree to comply with the Valor Combat Systems Rules and Regulations at all times.
If a dispute arises between a student and another student, their Sensei (Club Coach), or their Club, the matter should be referred to the Complaints Department by emailing: - info@valorcombatsystems.co.uk
Any training undertaken at clubs that are not registered with Valor Combat Systems will invalidate the insurance provided as part of Membership.
Students wishing to transfer to another Valor Combat Systems club must notify the Administration Team so that their Membership records can be updated.
All new students are subject to a 6-month probationary period from the date of affiliation.
Any breach of the Valor Combat Systems Rules and Regulations may result in suspension or expulsion from the organisation.

UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT

Uniforms, protective equipment and other official merchandise are available to purchase from the Valor Combat Systems Website Shop.

GRADINGS

Grading (examination) fees start from £30 and increase according to grade level.
Students will be invited to grade by their Sensei once they have demonstrated the required level of technical proficiency through consistent attendance and training.

BUDO PASS (LICENCE BOOK)

Following successful Membership acceptance and completion of their first grading, each student will receive a digital Budo Pass (Licence Book).
Students are responsible for checking that all information within their Budo Pass is correct. Any errors or omissions should be reported to the Administration Team by emailing: - info@valorcombatsystems.co.uk

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DIRECT DEBIT MEMBERSHIP

Our Direct Debit Membership payment system is administered through GoCardless. By setting up a Direct Debit, you authorise Valor Combat Systems to collect the agreed Membership fee from your bank or building society account. Your Membership includes tuition fees and Martial Arts insurance.
Membership payments are collected automatically on the 1st of each month. Should Valor Combat Systems need to amend either the payment amount or collection date, we will provide a minimum of one month's notice.
Once processed, Membership payments are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances, such as a prolonged illness or injury. In such cases, the maximum refund available will be equivalent to one month's Membership fee.
Memberships cannot be paused for personal reasons, except in cases of severe illness or injury, as Membership fees are calculated on a pro-rata basis.

MISSED CLASSES

If a student is unable to attend a class due to illness, injury, holidays, or if the scheduled Club Coach is unavailable, they may attend an alternative class.
Replacement classes may be attended regardless of which Valor Combat Systems discipline the student is enrolled in — either Valor Ju Jitsu or Valor Precision Combat. Both systems are designed to complement one another, allowing students to continue developing their technical skills and maintaining consistent progress.
Please note: Replacement classes must be taken within one month of the original missed lesson.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

A Member may cancel their Membership at any time by providing notice to Valor Combat Systems no later than the 25th day of the month in which cancellation is requested.
Where cancellation notice is received on or before the 25th, the Membership will be cancelled with effect from the end of the current membership period and no further Membership payment will be due.
Where cancellation notice is received after the 25th of the month, the cancellation will take effect at the end of the following membership period. The next scheduled Membership payment will therefore remain due and will be processed in accordance with the Member’s agreed payment method.
No refunds, credits, or reimbursements will be provided in respect of Membership payments processed where the cancellation notice was received after the applicable cancellation deadline.
Members are requested to provide cancellation notice as soon as they decide to discontinue their training to avoid any unnecessary payment being processed.
Any unused replacement classes will be forfeited upon cancellation of Membership. However, unused replacement classes may be transferred to an immediate family member who remains an active Valor Combat Systems student. This is necessary because Martial Arts insurance only covers currently registered and active members.
It is the responsibility of the Parent, Guardian or Adult Student to notify Valor Combat Systems of any change in circumstances that may affect their Membership.

FAILED PAYMENTS

Membership is an ongoing monthly Direct Debit.
Failure to make the scheduled payment on the 1st of the month, without prior communication, will invalidate the student's Membership, including their Martial Arts insurance. The student will not be permitted to train until the outstanding balance has been settled.
Any failed Direct Debit payment will automatically incur a £6 administration fee through the GoCardless payment system.
Failed payments will be automatically resubmitted twice following the initial failure. If payments continue to fail for three consecutive months, the student's Membership will be terminated immediately.

MEMBERSHIP LICENCE FORM

Once your Direct Debit Membership has been successfully established, you will receive a digital Valor Combat Systems Membership Licence Form via email from Signable.
Completion of this form is required to confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and to activate your ongoing Martial Arts insurance.

DIGITAL REGISTER

Valor Combat Systems operates a digital attendance register as part of our commitment to maintaining professional standards.
To ensure all students are correctly registered, every student, parent or guardian must book and sign in through our Bookwhen booking system. This applies to both: -

New students using the Pay As You Go option.
Existing students attending under a Membership.

Maintaining accurate attendance and contact information enables our Club Coaches to plan classes effectively and contact students or parents promptly in the event of an emergency.

CATCH-UP CLASSES

Students who miss a class are welcome to attend any alternative Valor Combat Systems class held during the week, subject to availability.
All catch-up classes must be pre-booked through the Bookwhen booking system.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING

Students wishing to attend an occasional extra class are welcome to do so.
